When Carmen Giordano, Esq. decided to form Giordano Law Offices PLLC in 2000, he was excited about the prospect of being able to help as many people as he could with a great variety of legal matters in highly diverse practice areas. Giordano Law Offices PLLC is the culmination of many years of broad legal experience.
As a former Rackets and Homicide Prosecutor, Mr. Giordano conducted investigations and handled trials in the areas of organized crime, white collar crime, public corruption, and drug-related homicides. Mr. Giordano also worked for the United States Senate as a Legislative Counsel for various Senators and committees of the U.S. Senate, including Senator Joe Biden, Ted Kennedy, the Judiciary Committee, and the Government Affairs Committee, among others. Upon returning to New York City from Washington, D.C., Mr. Giordano worked as a Senior Trial Specialist for the N.Y.C. Corporation Counsel’s Special Litigation Unit, trying some of the City’s most serious lawsuits, including wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases, throughout the five boroughs of the City. Before forming Giordano Law Offices, Mr. Giordano worked for the Manhattan Law Firm of Levy Phillips & Konigsberg, acting as lead counsel in federal and state litigation of catastrophic tort and employment discrimination cases. Jenna Norys is a native of Orange County California, admitted to practice law in New York State and awaiting admission in her home State of California. Ms. Norys is a graduate of San Diego State University and New York Law School. She brings a diverse background to Giordano Law Offices, having worked for the New York City Police Department, Commissioner of Trials Office, the New York City Department of Investigation, Inspector General for the New York City Department of Buildings, and the NYC Human Resources Administration.
Ms. Norys has a diplomatic but tough advocacy style. She is an accomplished negotiator who understands how to attain a meeting of minds. Her background in litigation, investigative work and transactional work are great assets to Giordano Law Office. Ms. Norys has worked in the areas of general litigation, personal injury, intellectual property, real estate, local, state and federal administrative matters, including Department of Buildings and OSHA issues, sports contracts, and law enforcement related matters.
